Beverly leads Carnegie Villagers in a warmup on Saturday May 16th. Here, she is showing us the vowel sounds associated with the seven chakras of Eastern belief; singing the vowels "opens up" the energy flow through the body, creating a meditative atmosphere and helping us to sing from the diaphragm. Each chakra corresponds to a part of the body; see the little heart? "Aaaaaahhhhhhh......"

Carnegie Village's next gathering will be on Monday May 11th at 1pm at Carnegie Hall! (The one at 401 Main St., that is.)
